Kamusta (Hey), Filipino high school students in Hamilton! Want to share your experiences, meet new friends and get creative?

Join us for Cozy Crafts and Kwentuha, on November 28, 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm (Hamilton Public Library Central) where you’ll get to: 

• Share your education journey with Filipino students, ates (older sisters) and kuyas (older brothers): A discussion on your experience and how we, as a community, can explore ways to support you!

• Create custom buttons: Tap into your creative side and learn how to use a button maker to design your own buttons! Also, a fun gift for family + friends  

• Meet new people: A chance to connect with fellow Filipino youth in Hamilton. Share stories, make new friends and grow your community. 

• Gain community volunteer hours: Volunteering as part of your high school experience helps you develop transferable skills, explore potential careers, learn your role as a citizen and be aware of how you can support and strengthen your community.

• Food will be provided!

Whether you're passionate about school, navigating challenges or just want to have a fun time, we invite you to join us for this cozy and creative event!
